If you haven’t been to the new Miamai store lately, you may have a reason to go now because the Anigma gown has arrived! It was inspired by the gown worn by Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games novels. Created for Miss Virtual World Canada 2013, the gown features a sequined bodice made of mesh with a sweetheart neckline. The strapless design extends into a pair of winged tips for a dramatic flair. You’ll hear gasps once people catch the glint of golden glitter hidden in the underskirt that peeks out as you walk. The draped back allows for the addition of beautiful jewelry or to show off a sexy tattoo. The asymmetrical cut ensures that all eyes will be on you even while standing still. If you want to set the stage on fire in the Anigma gown, take a limo over to Miamai and get it now!
With Opium Evolution’s Utopia Show premiering tomorrow, here is another preview of a couple of outfits to be seen. The featured designer this time is L+N, known for their beautifully bizarre creations. The Dragonfly Fantasy dress is sure to enchant all with golden wings woven together. The belt and scepter glow with magic for an touch of whimsy. The matching hair and skin complete the look. The other outfit is called Bloody Poppy. Add the tattooed skin and fiery red hair to look like a crimson queen. Waves of red wash over the dress as opalescent bubbles float mystically in the air. Certain to make a splash at any party, you won’t want to miss seeing it in person so come to the Utopia Show tomorrow at noon and 3pm SLT!
The Opium Utopia Fantasy Show is almost here! Vero Modero brings fashion into the future in the show with the Cyber Uthopia bodysuit. This cybernetic ninja look comes complete with spiky shoulder pads and a sleek hood to shield your identity as you travel through shadows. The gloves and boots are from Celoe and Rosal respectively, showing how this ensemble can be dressed up to meet the fashion standards of tomorrow. If you want to see more from Vero Modero, come to the Opium Utopia Fantasy Show on Sunday, Sept. 30 at noon SLT.
No matter how much we progress in fashion, some things are just timeless classics. Vintage Fair 2012 was filled with these, ranging from Baroque to the 80′s. The four sims boasted mesh store fronts for a smoother shopping experience.
Some of my favorite pieces came from LD Major and LODE. The Deco Vestito gown is a slinky silhouette that pays homage to the hourglass figures of the silver screen. It looks especially chic when worn with the Dame hair from Loovus Dzevavor. Top it with the coquettish Nikola hat from LODE and you have an evening look that emanates old Hollywood glamour.
