Over at Boudoir’s sim, is a skybox filled with spooky, creepy Halloween things. There’s a graveyard, coffins, this scarecrow, and a spooky forest background. It’s put together really well, and I recommend it for the season.
I’m so in love with this cute bat plushie by Mango Cheeks for Acid Lily. It comes with two versions– this cute one, and a blood stained one. The tweed suit is also available at Acid Lily and is by Room of AMO .

1) It’s Halloween season! (Obviously)
That means it’s okay to be creepy for an entire month. Marketplace is stocked with Halloween dollarbies like this Halloween pose to use with friends. Or a bouncing pumpkin. Or these cute batty nails.
2) You might find someone new to trick or treat with.
Interested in meeting new people? If you’d love a chance to hang out with popular bloggers and designers including Azure of Teefy, and Fashionboi Landar of House of Fox, Pixel Coffee Bean has put up a date auction and it’s not too late to bid– Or add yourself for that matter. At the auction, you can click on each name to get a little information on that person. Bidding ends October 6th. And designers, OMGWTF Barbecue is offering designers a chance to be apart of a Fifty Linden Friday event with her date; and FLF is generally by invitation only so it’s a good opportunity.
3) This pumpkin head
Remarkable Oblivion is constantly impressing me. They have talented designers working out some of the most detailed mesh accessories on the grid. If you join their group (which is free at the time of blogging), you can pick up this head at their store. They also have a couple other past group gifts available as well. To celebrate October, RO will be having “13 Remarkable Nights of Oblivion” giveaways, so there really isn’t a reason to not join this group…
4) Legion’s 1st Spooktacular
Legion is putting on a brand new Fall event called Spooktacular. In addition to there being Fall-themed gacha’s from these amazing designers, there will also be DJs spinning some eeriespooky music, and costume contests. For more updates on the event, I encourage you to follow eekabatz on Flickr.
5) Kustom9 Begins
Nosanta Resident is starting a new biweekly event called Kustom9, which will begin on the 15th. she is still looking for more designers, so if you’re interested you can head over to the Kustom9 website for details on how to apply. I can’t tell for sure by the application, but it looks as though items will be starting at 90L (which when you consider the name makes sense).

I love the garden at Condensation Land. Finally I had a chance to take some photos of it.
I thought it was perfect for fall. Every section of the garden is photogenic, and there’s even a cute cottage in the back for my photo opportunities.
Fashion’s Story Fair has begun. It features 25 designers who are helping chronicle the timeline of fashion. There are four sections of the the event and they are separated by decades (you can find the map for the event here). ASO! is participating with these cute 1940s overall. I paired it with Clawtooth’s Femme Fatale Bun.

You guys may have already seen this on my flickr, but I’ve been so gosh darn busy I never had a second to credit it. The dress is from Designers United 5, as the title suggests, and is by GATO. It’s textured with Dali’s painting “The Ants.”
I’ve always loved Boudoir‘s hair, and I loved the shape of their Sirena hair, so I manually removed all the seaweed and coral out of it. Boudoir has a lot of these voluminous, flexi hair styles that photograph so well.

Gold Mask/Necklaces: Glow Studio – Evil Eye Rope Gold Set from DU5
Not to bring you guys down with my humdrum real life, but today was such a drag– moving always is. I look drab, I’m tired, cranky, bored. So what a nice surprise it was to log onto SL and get an invite to preview the upcoming Designers United event.
I had recently heard of the event through Strawberry Singh’s post, which featured these stilts from Maitreya. The theme is Surrealism, which immediately reminded me of an event from a year ago by Epoch called Legend which had an MC Escher theme. As much as that event had impressed me, this one impressed me so much more. This may be one of the best themes and collection of designers I’ve seen on SL to date.
Here’s an animated preview of the dress above created by The Secret Store. The “E-Motion” dress features a horizontally scrolling sky. Admittedly I spent a lot on this event, and I’ll show more previews through out the day. This dress captures the theme perfect in my opinion. It’s something you haven’t seen, it’s surreal.
All items will be available September 15th here.

The Seasons Story is a new event that will happen seasonally (no, I couldn’t find a better way to describe it), and since fall has just begun, this round has some beautiful autumn favorites.
For the event, ASO made this cozy, knit sweater. I love it because it’s big enough that I can layer it with not only clothing layers, but mesh layers as well. The xxs fit right over my mesh jeans.
On the topic of new releases, Ducknipple has just released these knee-high boots. It comes with a color change hud so that you can choose from 14 colors
Skin: the body co. – Summer
Hair: D!va – Asami (Citrine)
Jeans: The Secret Store – Rise Skinny Jeans
Undershirt: Ohmai – Basics One-Piece (unavailable)
Necklace: Nylon Outfitters - Fluffy Mittens
I decided to reward myself for spending so little at The Arcade by spending a lot more at Collabor88. I initially went over to pick up one thing, but of course that never actually happens. The theme was Fall into Fall. 99% of the reason it’s my favorite season is because of the apparel.
Before you say anything, I am absolutely aware that my avatar has no eyebrows. I chose to go browless to highlight how some brands are now offering browless skins. This saves me a lot of time tinting tattoo layers so that I can utilize all the add-on brows I have. Both Birdy and THESKINSHOP offer browless skins. I’m on the prowl for some more, so if you know of any other brands, please let me know, I’ll be ever so grateful.
So what was the one thing I had to pick up? I saw Tyr working on the foxtail add-on on her flickr. The final result was so beautiful. I can’t believe it’s taken so long for someone to make one, but it was certainly worth the wait.

If I ever want to make sure I’m going to get my money’s worth, there are two events I can always count on– The Chapter Four and The Limited Bazaar. I’ve mentioned The Chapter Four before, but I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned The Limited Bazaar. The Limited Bazaar features work from designers that are not only exclusive to the event, but are also in limited quality (hence the name).
I wanted the Baroque Heel Socks by .Shi, but just my luck they sold out quick. I did however get this beautiful hair by Amacci. Ever since I discovered her hair during the Love Donna Flora! event, I’ve been falling for her products. This hair is available at The Limited Bazaar and for only 150L I got a huge color pack (It came with a set of red colors, copper colors, blacks, and “crazies”).
The skin came from The Chapter Four (SLURL) and is by another new favorite of mine, Birdy. I mentioned Birdy in a previous post, and I couldn’t wait to try this “Gothique” skin for only 99L. And in case you didn’t already know how creative and talented Dani, the creator of Birdy is, check out her tumblr which features a few of her illustrations.
.Olive. – The Captivating Headress
ASO - White and Pink Eye Make Up from The Chapter Four
Yikes, I moved in real life, and I’ve fallen a bit behind on everything SL.
Another week of Acid Lily Gallery has started, which is where I picked up these cute, strappy heels called Daria by Baby Monkey. They’re just more evidence that the revamped Acid Lily is just getting better and better. See for yourself, by checking out their shopping guide.
I love these antlers by [RunAway], I like how they hug my hair, and frame my face. Each pack of “ring horns” come with both the gold rings, and silver rings option.
On another note, for those that have entered Bitch Tail‘s photo contest, voting has begun. I don’t know how long voting has been going on, but head over and vote for yours truly, or any of the other amazing entries in the contest.
Bodysuit: Maitreya – Body Suit de la Ruche in black

Skin: the body co. – Summer in fair
Pose: Pin Me Up Poses – I Dunno for Pure Sales Room
I’ve been wanting a pair of a-morir glasses offline for a long time now, specifically their ceramic rose covered pair. While my RL budget can’t make them fit, I can satisfy my virtual needs by playing the [LWL]‘s machine for a mere 75L a pull.
They are so chic; these pastel colors are my favorite. You can view all twelve possibilities here. In just a few more hours you can get your own pair at The Arcade.
I was telling Faint about my RL desire for them, she suggested a glue gun. Of course! And this youtube video has a ton of different styles you can try.
