WoW Skins has become one of the more popular brands to go to for sexy, fresh-faced female skins. At various times of the day you can find the main store filled with happy shoppers. Siren Productions would like to shine the spotlight on Designer Sawsan SecretSpy. We are pleased that she will be joining us at The 24², opening September 5th.
Ali: Sawsan, thank you for taking a bit of time to speak with us about WoW Skins. I’ve personally been a fan since I first began seeing your skins hit the market. How long has it been?
Sawsan: My store is open since 2 years now.
Ali: Time does fly! I’m always curious which designers have ventured into other virtual worlds because I wonder if I’m starting to miss out on anything in the other worlds yet. Have you set up shop in other worlds?
Sawsan: No, I don’t have other stores in any of the other virtual worlds. I tried Inworldz, but nothing compares to SL.
Ali: I also tried Inworldz. To be fair, I didn’t really give it much of a chance and I haven’t been back because I agree with you. I’ve yet to find any other world that compares to SL. How did you get started designing the skins we love?
Sawsan: I started for fun playing in Photoshop and working on skins, then I realized that I was loving that! So it became my hobby and I love it.
Ali: Are there other things you like to do in SL besides creating skins? Where can Sawsan be found when not working?
Sawsan: I like photography a lot. So sometimes I just love to play in Photoshop editing pictures. If I’m not working, I hide in my skybox. XD
Ali: I won’t put you on the spot and ask who you’d hide from, but I’d love to know if there’s anyone in SL you consider a mentor or someone special that you feel has helped you to become as successful as you are now?
Sawsan: I have to say thanks to my SL sister Niani Resident. She helped me a lot improving my skills and she was there when I was about to give up each time. We helped each other in our “bad moments”.
Ali: We all need those special people in our lives who help us not to give up. I thank Niani as well for being that person for you because she’s been influential in keeping WoW Skins on the grid. Do you think you’ll expand your brand to include more than skins and avatars in the future?
Sawsan: I am always open to try new stuff that take live in SL, so why not!
You are a delight to chat with Sawsan, thank you. I wish you continued success and the least amount of “bad moments” possible. We’ll see you at The 24²!
